Al-Sennari Archaeological House to hold "Basics of Designing Plant Decorations" workshop on Jan. 11

CAIRO – 6 January 2022: Al-Sennari Archaeological House is organizing an art workshop entitled "Basics of Designing Plant Decorations" on January 11 at 3 p.m.

The workshop targets young people from the age of 16 years and above and aims to shed light on the art of decoration that has accompanied man since ancient times and flourished in all ages.

Researcher Magdy el-Shahat, teacher of archaeological decorations at the Faculty of Archeology, Fayoum University, focuses during the workshop on the history of decorations,  teaching participants how to draw the plant motifs and the geometrical measurements necessary to design distinctive decorations with dazzling shapes.
