CAIRO – 15 December 2021: On December 14, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir received a delegation of the contestants participating in the 28th International Competition of the Holy Qur’an, from 40 countries, in addition to a number of international arbitrators. The competition is held in Egypt and is organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments.

 

 

 

 

The delegation was received by Sabah Abdel Razek, the Museum's General Manager, who took them on a tour at the museum's various halls.

Abdel Razek indicated that, during their visit, the members of the delegation were keen to learn about the unique artifacts housed in the museum, which represent the various eras of the ancient Egyptian civilization. They also expressed their admiration of the unique archaeological treasures contained in the museum, especially the treasures of the young King Tutankhamun.

 

 

 

 

This visit comes within the framework of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities’ strategy to utilize the important and international events held in Egypt to promote the various tourism and archaeological destinations by granting free visits to all delegations participating in these events.
