Press conference announcing details of 28th Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater to be held on Dec. 9

CAIRO – 5 December 2021: The Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater will hold a press conference to announce the details of the 28th session on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in the conference hall of the Supreme Council of Culture.

The conference will reveal the full details of the new edition of the festival, including the number of participating shows and how they were selected, the artists to be honored during the opening ceremony, the details of the intellectual axes, the most important publications and the names of their authors, in addition to the members of the jury and the new prize formula that the festival will introduce in the next session.

It is noteworthy that the 28th Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater will take place from December 14 to 19 on the theaters of Cairo as well as other Egyptian governorates. It bears the name of the late Fawzy Fahmy.

Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater is held under the patronage of Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem. The festival aims to establish a means of communication between different people and theater groups, It also targets introducing the audience in Egypt and the Arab region to the latest trends in the theatrical scene.
