CAIRO – 2 December 2021: The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion, hosted a delegation of the most famous TV presenters in the Baltic countries [Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia] to visit Luxor and Aswan, in cooperation with the most prominent tour operators in these countries.

 

 

 

 

For his part, Head of the Central Department of Foreign Tourism at the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion Maged Abu Sedira indicated that this comes in light of the ministry’s efforts to diversify promotion techniques and modernize marketing mechanisms for the Egyptian destinations, which is one of the most reliable ways to target new markets through continuous communication with the international media.

During the visit, the delegation photographed the archaeological sites in Luxor and Aswan and recorded video clips of the Egyptian tourist destinations, especially in light of the ministry’s adoption of creating a new. They also posted live videos on their social media pages.

 

 

 

 

One of the filmed videos during the visit was posted on the most important website in the Baltic countries, Delfi. The rest of the videos will be published successively at the end of each week.

The marketing director of marketing of one of the largest tour operator offices in the Baltic states expressed her happiness with this visit. She noted that four articles and four clips will be published on the company's social networking sites on Facebook and Instagram, which are followed by 250,000 subscribers.

 

 

 

 

In addition, a short video about the visit will be broadcast on one of the most popular morning TV programs in the Baltic countries.
