CAIRO – 15 November 2021: The Egyptian Opera House, contracted with the Russian St. Petersburg Ballet Theater Troupe to present the famous show "Swan Lake" for four nights in Cairo and Alexandria.
The show will be staged on November 17, 18, 19 at 8 p.m. at Cairo Opera House's Grand Theater, and on November 20 at Alexandria Opera House's Sayed Darwish Theater.
Head of the Egyptian Opera House Magdy Saber said that the tickets for the show were sold out as soon as they were released, which confirms the distinguished position that the opera enjoys as a window to serious creativity.
Saber indicated that hosting the Russian troupe is part of the plans aimed at activating the dialogue of civilizations, adding that the Russian St. Petersburg Ballet Theater Troupe is one of the most important theatrical troupes in the world.
