Heliopolis Association celebrates International Week of Science & Peace at Egypt’s Children's Museum on Nov. 12

CAIRO – 11 November 2021: The Heliopolis Association participates with societal organizations of the world in the International Week for Science and Peace, which was approved by the United Nations in 1988 and is celebrated by the world in November of each year.

 

 

 

 

The festivities will start on November 12 at 1 p.m. 

 

 

 

 

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Heliopolis Association Nabil Helmy said that the celebration aims to encourage youth and children to exchange knowledge in various fields of science and raise awareness of the relationship between science and peace in the minds of members of society. It also aims to familiarize children and youth with the importance of working simultaneously to make progress in the field of science and technology and to maintain peace and security.

 

 

 

 

The celebration is carried out by the Child Center for Civilization and Creativity [The Children's Museum], headed by Osama Abdel Wareth, who confirmed that the events are organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Aviation (the General Administration of Air Culture), the EgyptAir Training Academy and the Egyptian Red Crescent Society.
