CAIRO – 1 November 2021: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem affirmed that the soft power is a significant means of strengthening friendship between nations. This came in light of the Cairo Opera Ballet Troupe’s participation in the activities of the Expo Dubai, as part of the celebration of the Egyptian Day.

The Egyptian night well presented the features of the Egyptian folklore through the artistic performances of the Cairo Opera Ballet Troupe, under the supervision of its artistic director, Armenia Kamel.

 

 

 

 

The troupe was able to convey part of the distinctive heritage of Egypt, and express an aspect of the unique identity of Egyptian arts and culture.

Within the same context, Minister Abdel Dayem pointed out the importance of the role of arts in promoting Egyptian culture at the regional and international levels, adding that thought and art come among the most important tools that express the nature and identity of societies.
