CAIRO – 20 October 2021: On October 22 at 7 p.m., the Talaat Harb Cultural Center of the Cultural Development Fund Sector will organize a new performing ceremony for the National Folklore Troupe, in cooperation with the Artistic House of Folk and Performing Arts.

The troupe, led by the artist Hani al-Nabulsi, will present a selection of folkloric dances that illustrate the Egyptian character and the authentic Egyptian heritage.

It is worth mentioning that the National Folklore Troupe was established in the sixties, with the aim of rooting all folk dances with their kinetic expressions, clothes and accessories.

Over the thirty-two years since its establishment in 1989, the Cultural Development Fund Sector has played an effective and influential role in supporting and developing cultural life in Egypt, and building bridges of creative dialogue between intellectuals, artists and the general public.

The sector is also working to discover young talents in various governorates, support them and put them on the path of excellence and creativity.
