CAIRO – 7 October 2021: On October 7, the Royal Swedish Academy "Nobel" will announce the name of the winner of the Novel Prize in Literature for the year 2021, amid anticipation of intellectuals and those interested in literary affairs, in various countries of the world.

 

 

 

October 7 coincides with the birth anniversary of the award's founder, Alfred Nobel.

 

 

 

The Royal Swedish Academy also confirmed that it will not organize a ceremony in Stockholm this year, and that the winners will receive the awards in their countries.

 

 

 

Announcements are made in Stockholm and Oslo, and are broadcast live on the official digital channels of the Nobel Prize, according to the New York Times.

 

 

 

The Nobel Prize announcement dates in the various categories come as follows:

 

-       The Physics Prize will be announced on October 5.

-       The Chemistry Prize will be announced on October 6.

-       The Peace Action Award will be announced on October 8.

-       The Economic Sciences Prize will be announced on October 11.

 

 

 

Six Nobel Prizes are awarded each year, each recognizing the pioneering contribution of an individual or organization in a particular field. Prizes are awarded for Physiology or Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Literature and Peaceful Work.
