CAIRO – 28 September 2021: The Cairo Café Ensemble, led by pianist Ali Sharaf, will present a concert on September 29 at 8 p.m on the Open Theater, during which the Egyptian-Italian singer Lydia Luchanoy Petro will perform.

The concert’s program includes a collection of old and contemporary oriental and western compositions reformulated by the musician Ali Sharaf.

It is noteworthy that Sharaf graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science in 1985 and from the Academy of Arts in 1986, then obtained a postgraduate diploma in music sciences.

He began his career as a musical arranger for a group of stars, including Medhat Saleh, Mohamed Fouad and Ali el-Haggar. He also composed many soundtracks for the famed Nelly Fawazeer program that aired during the holy month of Ramadan in the 90’s, and collaborated with a number of promising bands.
