CAIRO – 13 September 2021: On September 13, many important events took place.

 

 

Important world events:

 

 

1882 - The defeat of Ahmed Orabi in the Battle of Al-Tal Al-Kabeer and the beginning of the British occupation of Egypt.

 

 

 

1936 - Major battles erupt in Jerusalem following the British army's occupation of Al-Buraq Police Station in the city.

 

 

 

1940 - Italian forces invade Egypt during World War II.

 

 

 

1970 - The beginning of an armed clash between the Jordanian army and the Palestine Liberation Organization in what is known as the Black September events.

 

 

 

1993 - Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin agree to the Oslo Accords, which grant the Palestinians autonomy over the territories of the Palestinian Authority.
