CAIRO – 6 Septe mber 2021: Head of the Plastic Arts Sector Khaled Sorour will inaugurate the “Rouh Horra” [Free Spirit] art exhibition for the artist Amr Salama, on September 7 at 7 p.m. at the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art’s Al-Bab Hall at the Opera House.

 

 

 

The artist Amr Salama was born in 1965 and graduated from the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University in 1989. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Art Education in 2001, and a PhD in Art Education and Textile Printing in 2012.

 

 

 

Moreover, Salama is a teacher at the Faculty of Education’s Department of Art Education, Suez Canal University in Ismailia, and is a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists and a member of the Cairo Atelier.

 

 

 

He participated in many group exhibitions in Egypt and abroad from 1994 until present and has held a number of personal exhibitions since 2002.
