CAIRO – 26 August 2021: On August 28, two concerts will be held within the 29thSalah El-Din Citadel International Festival for Music & Singing on Al-Mahka Theater.

 

 

 

At 8 p.m., popular percussionist Saed el-Artist and his band will perform a selection of his most popular musicals. It includes variations on a group of the most famous works of Arabic music, as well as a number of innovative percussions.

 

 

 

At 10 p.m., Egyptian star Nesma Mahgoub will perform an anthology of her most popular songs.

 

 

 

The young artist has been associated with music since her childhood. She started singing at the age of 10 and then received training at the Opera House for 7 years. Mahgoub was able to sing in several languages besides her piano mastery.

 

 


Her real breakthrough came on the artistic scene through her participation in a talent program, where she won the first place after a fierce competition with a number of participants from different Arab countries. Since then, Mahgoub has managed to build a wide fan base.

 

 

 

The much loved Salah El-Din Citadel International Festival for Music & Singing was launched on August 15 and will run for sixteen days, with the participation of popular musicians and singers from Egypt and the Arab world.

 

 

 

The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture represented by the Egyptian Opera House in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and its activities include 31 concerts.

 

 

 

Twelve artistic and administrative personalities who contributed to enriching the Egyptian creative scene and participated in making the success of the previous editions of the festival with be honored during its 29th edition. Those include singer Amgad el-Atafi, Pianist and Music Distributor Amro Selim, Azza Madien and others.
