CAIRO – 25 August 2021: Egyptian actor Abed Anani participated in the campaign “You’re Into Books”, which is a global cultural campaign launched by the Al-Sharjah Book Authority.

 

 

 

Through his Instagram page, Anani expressed the importance of reading and his interest in books by announcing the campaign’s hashtag, which aims to spread global awareness about the importance of standing at the origin in creating a real and sustainable link between man and books and promoting that with all that this era requires of diversity, creativity, and full knowledge of the trends and desires of individuals with their various interests.

 

 

 

The campaign’s concept and presentation goes beyond the traditional ways of promoting books.

 

 

 

Through its campaign, the authority reconstructs the prevailing image of the reader's personality in the world, considering that every person in the world is a reader at origin, and in the language of numbers, the authority confirms through its campaign that there are 7.9 billion readers on earth, carrying with it messages that books are, in fact, interesting and attractive to all human beings, and that it is not only related to literature and thought and is not limited to those interested in novels, poetry, research and studies (despite the great importance of these topics), rather, it is for all topics and about various interests, to confirm that those interested in sports, music, cycling, video games, fashion and other various fields and interests, are in fact interested in books, and they only have to access the right book that is interesting to them.
