CAIRO – 24 August 2021: Al-Sennari House and the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage, affiliated to the Cultural Communication Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, are organizing an art workshop for children under the title "Professions and Crafts in Ancient Egypt" on August 25 at 11 a.m.

The workshop focuses on crafts and professions in ancient Egypt.  It illustrates the most important crafts and professions that the ancient Egyptian relied on in building their unparalleled civilization, which contributed to the progress of mankind.

In practice, children will learn about the murals of crafts and industries in ancient Egypt, as well as how to color them in a beautiful artistic way, so that the child will eventually get a wonderful painting or an integrated work of art.

The workshop aims to spread awareness, acquaint children with the Egyptian civilization and achievements through the ages, and instill the values of belonging and patriotism in the hearts of children. This is in addition to developing their creativity and innovation skills, and enhancing their motor performance and self-confidence.
