CAIRO – 17 August 2021: The summer training organized by the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization for students and graduates of the faculties of archeology with its various departments [Egyptian antiquities, Islamic antiquities, and restoration] was launched under the title “NMEC Summer School.”

The training program provides the students of archeology faculties with an opportunity to experience the work environment in the museums, and to get acquainted with the museum’s role, which is not only a display of collectibles and artifacts, but also an integrated research and educational institution.

The training day concluded with a visit to the museum’s scientific laboratories to learn about the various devices that examine and analyze antiquities.

For his part, Head of the Museum’s Authority Ahmed Farouk Ghoneim confirmed that the cultural and educational activities carried out by the museum, including seminars, lectures and scientific conferences, will play a great role in community awareness and will raise the intellectual level of all participants, specialists, workers and students.
