Egypt’s Taha Abu al-Nasr aims to participate in Cannes Film Festival with “El-Share’”

CAIRO – 10 August 2021: The young artist Taha Abu al-Nasr completed filming his short novelist film “El-Share’” [The Street], in several different regions between Egypt and Italy.

 

 

 

It is the work in which he seeks to participate in the Cannes Film Festival.

 

 

 

Taha confirmed in a press release that his short film deals with stories from the Egyptian and Italian streets, where many similarities associated with the people of both countries combines a humanitarian manner in certain positions, appearing during the film.

 

 

 

Taha pointed out that he is seeking to market  the film at the Cannes Film Festival in the Short Films Competition.

 

 

 

Taha filmed the short film  in a period that exceeded a year between Egypt and Italy, pointing out that he will present the promo and pictures of the work soon after he finishes his montage.

 

 

 

It is worth noting that Egypt won the award for the Best Short Film in the previous edition, with the movie “Stacher” directed by Sameh Alaa.
