Heliopolis library to hold numerous art workshops during August 2021

CAIRO – 4 August 2021: The Heliopolis Library is launching a number of activities and workshops for various creative skills directed at all age groups, [children, youth and adults] during August.

 

 

 

The workshops and activities come within the framework of efforts to upgrade talents, empower talented individuals and support their skills.

 

 

 

Specialized programs have also been designed with the aim of supporting the creative community by providing high-level training programs for creative young people to enhance their skills and basic competencies, especially in the fields of art, design, and sports. 

 

 

 

The program includes a pencil drawing workshop for young people from 13 and above, and a workshop teaching the artistic dimensions and coloring held on Saturday and Monday of each week. The workshops comprise eight lectures.

 

 

 

Moreover, the program includes a photography workshop, which most importantly focuses on the history of photography, knowledge of photographic terms, how the camera works, types of photography, types of cameras and types of lenses.

 

 

 

At the end of the workshop, a photography exhibition will be organized inside the library, featuring the works of young photographers. The workshop comprises four lectures and takes place on Monday of every week.

 

 

 

It is worth mentioning that the program also presents a Zumba course on Sunday and Tuesday of every week, with a total of six lectures; a sewing and pattern course on Saturday and Tuesday of every week, with a total of eight lectures; a leather arts workshop on Friday of every week; and courses to improve Arabic calligraphy on Friday of every week.
