CAIRO – 27 June 2021: Travelers who received a coronavirus vaccine that is approved by the World Health Organization and the Egyptian Drug Authority are now allowed to enter the country.

This includes travelers who have received the second dose of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Sinovac, or Sinopharm, 14 days before entry, or have received the first dose of Johnson & Johnson (as it only requires one dose to provide full protection) 14 days before entry.

Travelers are to submit a vaccination certificate with a QR code, and travelers who don’t have a vaccination certificate will have to submit a negative PCR test result upon arrival.

Also, travelers who are fully vaccinated but arriving from countries affected with variant COVID-19 will do a rapid (ID now) test upon arrival.
