CAIRO – 20 June 2021: Under the slogan "Egypt Tunisia:  Cultural History & Common Horizons", the first activities of the Egyptian-Tunisian Cultural Year 2021-2022 will begin on June 23.

 

 

 

The first of these activities comes within the framework of the "Cultural Relations" initiative launched by Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, where the Supreme Council of Culture organizes in cooperation with the External Cultural Relations Sector on June 23 at 6 p.m. in the hall of the Supreme Council of Culture, a new evening of the "Cultural Relations" initiative, in which the State of Tunisia is celebrated.

 

 

 

The evening will be preceded by the screening of a short documentary film about the State of Tunisia and its most prominent cultural features, followed by a speech Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, the launcher of the "Cultural Relations" initiative, and a speech by the Tunisian Ambassador to Egypt Mohamed Ben Youssef, speaking about his most prominent impressions on the cultural relations between the two countries, in addition to highlighting opportunities for future cultural cooperation between the two friendly nations.

 

 

 

The evening will be attended by a number of prominent thinkers.

 

 

 

It is worth noting that the last period witnessed an acceleration of efforts to end the current year in a way that would add to the cultural movement in the two countries and open up prospects for more joint cooperation between them.
