CAIRO – 16 June 2021: The Heliopolis Association will organize on June 17 two cultural seminars, within the framework of the cultural program of June.

 

 

 

The various events of the cultural program are distributed among the association’s cultural and creative edifices, and include literary, artistic and cultural activities, as well as recreational and educational trips.

 

 

 

Among these activities is a symposium, entitled "Different Colors of the Egyptian Song", which will be held by the association's Future Library [El-Mostakbal] at 5 p.m. It aims to highlight the importance of the Egyptian song in the lives of the Egyptians, as part of the Egyptian civilization, in its different eras and stages of development.

 

 

 

Also, a symposium celebrating the birth anniversary of the writer Ahmed Khaled Tawfik will be held by the Heliopolis Library at 5 p.m., in the presence of a group of senior writers and journalists. It will be moderated by Imad el-Adly.

 

 

 

Ahmed Khaled Tawfik is considered the most popular writer among the youth of the Arab world. His interesting plots, distinguished sarcastic style and unique characters earned him respect and popularity among young people. 

 

 

 

Tawfik died at the age of 55 after a sudden heart attack.
