Al-Sennari House to hold ‘Art of Collage’ workshop for children on June 15

CAIRO – 15 June 2021: Al-Sennari Archaeological House will hold an art workshop entitled “The Art of Collage” on June 15 at 2 p.m. 

The workshop targets children from 7 to 10 years old, and imposes all precautionary measures against COVID-19.

The workshop focuses on producing artwork using cutting and pasting techniques. It teaches children ways to paste newspaper clippings, tapes, colored paper and photographs together on a piece of paper or fabric to eventually obtain a distinctive painting.

The workshop aims to reuse old untapped objects and tools by finding new alternatives and ideas. This, in turn, helps children increase their focus and ability to think and imagine.
