CAIRO – 14 June 2021: After the June 30 revolution, all the sectors of the Egyptian state have been carrying out development and restoration operations in all government facilities, including cultural facilities.

 

 

 

Among the undertaken projects is the development and renovation of Gamal Abdel Nasser Culture Palace & Library in Alexandria.

 

 

 

The project was launched on 1/3/2015, and was completed on 1/11/2015 at a total cost of L.E. 1.1 million.

 

 

 

The library spans over 2,380 meters and consists of halls for reading, audio-visual presentation, and computer education, as well as rooms for administration, and control and security. This is in addition to a store, and an open theater.

 

 

 

The library organizes cultural competitions for children, artistic and cultural workshops, and information technology programs.
