Cairo-July 7: Hatem Rabie, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Culture, condemned the terrorist attack which targeted the army forces in one of the military points in Sinai, offering his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs.

Rabie recounted that this terrorist attack is villainous and despicable, pointing out that those who usually perform such terrorist operations are only cowards and traitors. ‘’The international society must immediately chastise all the countries that sponsor and finance terrorism,’’ said Rabie in a statement on Friday afternoon.

Rabie praised the heroic role played by the armed forces and the successes they achieved to revenge from the terrorists. Rabie added that the armed forces are capable of protecting Egypt from terrorism, praying for God to grant them and their families all the needed patience and solace.

The Egyptian armed forces in North Sinai succeeded in thwarting a terrorist attack performed by Takfiri elements on some concentration points located in South Rafah, killing more than 40 and destroying about six vehicles.
