Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo celebrates Italian Republic Day on June 2

CAIRO – 2 June 2021: On June 2, the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo will present, through its social media channels, a video clip of the Italian national anthem performed specifically by the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra, led by Maestro Riccardo Muti and accompanied by the Teatro Municipale di Piacenza Choir to celebrate the Italian Republic Day.

It is noteworthy that on June 2, 1946, the Italian people chose the Republican System. Currently, Italian Cultural Centers across the world celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of that day.

The Festa della Repubblica [Italian Republic Day] is one of the national symbols of Italy.
