CAIRO – 1 June 2021: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel-Dayem convened with Head of the External Cultural Relations Sector Sabry Said to review the intellectual and creative activities carried out during the second half of the artistic season 2020-2021.

The meeting also reviewed the plans to support artistic and intellectual exchange between Egypt and the countries of the world.

As part of such plans, Abdel Dayem directed the speedy preparation of a project to allocate a pavilion inside the Naguib Mahfouz Museum for world writers who won the Nobel Prize in Literature to shed light on the symbols of literature in the world and the role they played in international culture.

Spain, Portugal and Colombia were contacted, welcomed the idea and expressed willingness to cooperate in its implementation.
