CAIRO – 17 May 2021: The Austrian Archaeological Institute in Cairo is organizing a lecture entitled "Austrian Archaeology in Egypt" delivered by Irene Forstner- Müller, on May 19, via Zoom.

 

 

 

The Cairo branch of the Austrian Archaeological Institute/Austrian Academy of Sciences is the only permanent scientific research center in the field of archaeological research outside Europe.

 

 

 

The center's activity is focused on excavations in the Nile Delta and Upper Egypt.

 

 

 

Through the lecture, Director of the Austrian Archaeological Institute in Cairo Irene Forstner- Müller will present a presentation on the institute’s activities, providing insights into the dazzling world of ancient Egyptian cities and communities.
