CAIRO – 10 May 2021: On May 10, many important events took place.

 

 

Important world events:

 

1497 - The Italian sailor, Amerigo Vespucci, goes out on top of a group of ships on a voyage in search of a new way to the Far East and Asia other than the way that was known around Africa. 

 

 

When he collided with land, he imagined that he had already arrived in India, except that he had discovered a new land that no European had ever set foot before, which is South America. Therefore, the Europeans called it America.

 

 

1529 - Suleiman the Magnificent begins a campaign for the Siege of Vienna in the heart of Europe.
