CAIRO – 10 May 2021: The Supreme Administrative Committee of the Cairo International Book Fair decided to extend the reservation deadline for publishers' willing to participate in its 52nd edition until May 11.

The General Egyptian Book Organization’s preparations are afoot for the launch of the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair, which is scheduled to run from June 30 to July 15, 2021.

Preparations began with the launch of a website for the Cairo International Book Fair. The design of the site comes in line with the Egyptian state's efforts to achieve technological transformation.

The Ministry of Culture is now designing an electronic portal for the authorities, which includes sites and pages for all cultural publications issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. It is also set to publish the news of the ministry and its governmental bodies.

The committee decided that the 52nd edition of the book fair would come under the slogan "Egypt's Identity: Culture & the Question of the Future". Yahya Haqi is chosen as the main personality of the book fair.
