Egypt’s Culture Development Fund Sector launches Ramadan activities on April 18

CAIRO – 15 April 2021: The Cultural Development Fund sector begins the activities of the cultural and artistic program that it organizes during the holy month of Ramadan with many distinguished activities. All precautionary measures to battle COVID-19 are applied in all activities.

 

 

 

Qubbat Al-Ghoury Creativity Center on Al-Azhar Street will hold on April 18 a performance entitled "Rituals of Sublimity" for the Sama’a Troupe for Religious Chanting and Spiritual Music, which includes poems for the most famous imams of Sufism.

 

 

 

The Indonesia Singing Troupe, the Acapella Troupe for Church Chants and the Sama’a Troupe for the Mawlawi Sufi dance, with the participation of the artist Hany Abdel Hay, will also participate in the concert.

 

 

 

Moreover, the Egyptian Architectural House (located in Beit Ali Labib in the Citadel Square) celebrates its inauguration, which coincides with the celebrations of the World Heritage Day.

 

 

 

Beit Al-Suhaymi on Al-Muizz Street will also host weekly performances for the Nile Band for Folk Instruments at 9 pm.
