CAIRO – 12 April 2021: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem received President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Saied and his accompanying delegation during their visit to Cairo Opera House on April 11.

 

They attended an artistic ceremony welcoming the guest of Egypt, in the presence of Egypt’s Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Khaled El-Anany, a number of public figures and members of the Tunisian community in Egypt.

 

 

Tunisian President Kais Saied expressed his gratitude for the Egyptian warm welcome. He expressed his great happiness with the artistic ceremony and the high-level performance of the Egyptian Opera House.

 

 

Moreover, Tunisian President Kais Saied expressed his gratitude to the veteran Tunisian singer Lotfi Bouchnak, and the popular Egyptian singer Reham Abdel Hakim, in addition to the musical band.

Saied affirmed the depth of cultural relations between Egypt and Tunisia, being a vital and effective bridge to achieve constructive communication between the people of both countries.

 

 

In addition, Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem thanked Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and President of Tunisia Kais Saied for their valuable agreement on the 2021-2022 year declaration of Egyptian-Tunisian culture, which came out of belief in the importance of soft forces in communication between people.

 

 

Tunisian megastar Lotfi Bouchnak and Egyptian star Reham Abdel Hakim, with the participation of the National Arab Ensemble for Music led by Maestro Mostafa Helmy, performed during the ceremony.
