Revenues from smoke customs in Cairo hit LE 236.75M during February

CAIRO – 3 March 2021: Total revenues collected at the General Administration of Smoke Customs in Cairo during the month of February 2021 amounted to LE 236.75 million, the administration announced on Wednesday.

 

“Smoke exports at the General Administration of Smoke Customs in Cairo amounted to about LE 4.67 million,” it added.

 

The number of containers received by the General Administration of Smoke Customs in Cairo during the month of February 2021 was about 76 containers of raw smoke imported into the transit system for storage other than customs duties, with a number of 7.48 thousand parcels, a total weight of 1,604 tons.

 

It stated that 170 partial withdrawal certificates were released with 16.9 thousand parcels with a total weight of 3548 tons.

 

The total taxes and customs duties collected at the General Administration of Smoke Customs in Cairo during the month of February 2021 amounted to LE 28.46 million, and the total fines were LE 87.85 thousand.

 

The total value-added taxes collected during the same period amounted to LE 195.3 million, and the total taxes of commercial and industrial profits and the free professions tax collected LE 2.23 million.

 

The fees collected for the smoke room account amounted to LE 1.11 million, and the total administrative expenses, development stamps, the relative and qualitative stamps, and the fee for the state's financial resources for the month of February 2021 amounted to LE 4.92 million.
