CAIRO - 21 February 2021: Executive Director of the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) Mohamed Abdel Karim said the initiative of "Decent Life" is a unique opportunity to revive the national industry with the preference of local products.

These remarks came in a symposium held by IMC via videoconference to review the main features of "Decent Life" initiative launched by President Abdel Fatah El Sisi to develop the poorest villages in the country.

Addressing the symposium, Abdel Karim said this major national project will help improve the quality of millions of Egyptians in a large number of villages across the country.

He pointed out that IMC, through its 15 branches in the various governorates, will count the factories operating in various industries to be involved in the initiative and offer them necessary technical support.

IMC will contact various factories to determine their production capacity and how they can boost their production rates, he added, noting that IMC is closely cooperating with working groups in various ministries in the service of national industry and economy.
