CAIRO – 17 February 2021: El Sewedy For Transmisssion and Distribution of Energy, a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric, signed a new contract with the Ministry of Electricity and Water - state of Kuwiet to supply and install overhead Transmission lines with a value of 16.1 million Kuwaiti Diner.

 

The company clarified in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) that the contract includes the supply and installation of 400-kilovolt overhead transmission lines for Boubyan main substation.

 

The project will power the island of Boubyan and Mubarak Al Kabeer Port, currently being constructed by the Ministry of Public Works.

 

Elsewedy Electric operates within the capital goods sector focusing on electrical components and equipment.
