China implements towers in New City of El-Alamein

CAIRO – 8 February 2021: China will be implementing a number of towers in New City of El-Alamein in Egypt.

On Monday, Minister of Housing Assem el-Jazzar witnessed the signing of cooperation protocol between Egypt and a Chinese company to build a number of towers in Downtown area of New City of El-Alamein.

This cooperation is similar to what happened in the New Administrative capital. The new towers in the New City of El-Alamein will be established per a Chinese loan.

China State Construction Engineering Coroporation (CSCEC) contributes to enhancing the modernization process of Egypt through building skyscrapers. In March 2020, it topped roof on first tower in the 20-tower central business district project in Egypt’s new capital.

CSCEC has agreed a $2.2bn loan to finance its work on the central business district in Egypt's New Administrative Capital.
