CAIRO - 2 February 2021: The Ministerial Committee for the Development and Re-exploitation of the Tahrir Complex held a meeting to review the proposed time plan for the development of the Tahrir complex and the implementation steps according to the studies conducted by certain international consulting offices to develop perceptions of the best-proposed uses.

The emptying plan for the Tahrir Complex building was also reviewed in coordination with the Cairo Governorate and the ministries and agencies that used to operate the complex, and whose number is about 27. There was an emphasis on the need to quickly empty the building and prepare it to receive investors and developers who will participate in the implementation of the development plans.

Dr. Hala El-Said confirmed that TSFE plans to transform the Tahrir complex into a role model in the process of re-exploitation of assets, maximizing the returns from them, and ensuring the rights of future generations.

El-Said indicated that the ownership of the Tahrir complex was transferred to TSFE during the last quarter of 2020, and last October.

“Many Egyptian and foreign investors were invited to review the ideas put forward to develop the complex,” El-Said explained.
