Tourists end week-long vacation in Egypt with zero COVID-19 infection, Tourism Min

CAIRO - 14 January 2021: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) called on all banks to send formal written notifications on regular basis regarding any CBE-floated initiative for tourism sector clients.

 
In a statement issued Thursday, the CBE accentuated the importance of sending fully-detailed information on CBE-raised initiatives to clients operating in the tourism sector, with a view to providing full support to the sector; being the mostly hurt by the untoward impact of the current coronavirus pandemic, with a view to helping it burst out of the current economic slump posed by the outbreak of the virus.
 
Meantime, the statement highlighted the importance of answering all tourism sector clients' inquires, as well as sending them monthly statements related to any floated initiative.
