CAIRO - 25 December 2020: Through an entertaining and interactive infographic, Ministry of International Cooperation releases a compelling visual video to capture the Ministry’s progress in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 90 seconds.

To streamline the story of the annual report, the video identifies the key activities and sectors that were prioritized during the year of 2020. The report draws on the latest available data found in the Ministry’s ODA SDG mapping exercise, and provides an overview of implementation efforts through highlighting areas of progress on each SDG.

To reflect the global changing dynamic, Al-Mashat noted that the Ministry of International Cooperation has been working to apply the three principles of economic diplomacy, which are: organizing multi-stakeholder platforms, ODA SDG mapping, and the Global Partnerships Narrative (People&Projects&Purpose).

According to the annual report by the Ministry of International Cooperation in 2020, the ministry secured development financing agreements worth $9.8 billion during the year; $6.7 billion for financing sovereign projects, and $3.1 billion in support of the private sector.
