Egypt's military production ministry, Polish companies aim for expanding cooperation

CAIRO – 10 November 2020: State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi met on Tuesday with the Polish ambassador to Cairo to discuss possible partnerships between affiliate companies and Polish ones in manufacturing certain products.

 

Such products are steel as well as alarm, laser, firefighting, hydraulic, and industrial security systems.  

 

Existing cooperation includes the production of surveillance cameras and the transformation of fuel-powered vehicles into gas-powered ones.  

 

The minister said he looks forward to the exchange of visits among the technical delegations of both sides for such plans to materialize. He also invited Polish firms to take part in Egypt Defense Expo 2021 (EDEX 2021).

 

On his side, the Polish ambassador praised the cooperation with the ministry as well as its capacities.
