CAIRO - 30 September 2020: Finance Minister Mohamed Maait announced new facilities to encourage citizens to pay government dues via e-payment.


In statements on Wednesday, the minister said these facilities will enable citizens to receive services without any added expenses.


This comes within the government’s efforts to reach a cashless society, enhance financial inclusion and entrench Digital Egypt pillars, the minister said.


He added that citizens can pay their dues that exceed EGP 10,000 starting from October 1 through 4,000 post offices nationwide as well as the following banks: The National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, Commercial International Bank, Arab African International Bank‎‏, Agricultural Bank of Egypt, Arab Bank, National Bank of Greece, United Bank of Egypt, QNB ALAHLI , Bank Audi, Credit Agricole, Ahli United Bank, Suez Canal Bank, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt‎‏, HSBC, Egyptian Bank for Export Development and Mashreq Bank.
