CAIRO – 2 September 2020: ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC S.A.E. (SWDY) announced Wednesday that its subsidiary, Elsewedy Electric for Trading & Distribution, signed a contract to build a new electricity substation at a value of LE 355.5 million ($21 million) .

 

The company clarified that the contract is to build the substation at Sadat City, Northwest of Cairo, will be implemented over a 14-month period.

 

Earlier, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC for Transmission & Distribution of Energy signed a contract with the “SOCIETE NATIONALE D ELECTRICITE” (SNEL) on August 6, to build a 220- 15/6.6 kV high voltage distribution substation in the city of Kasumbalesa, province of Haut - Katanga, with a value of $38.6 million.

CAIRO - 9 August 2020: ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC S.A.E. (SWDY) announced Sunday that its subsidiary ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC for Transmission & Distribution of Energy signed a contract with the "SOCIETE NATIONALE D ELECTRICITE" (SNEL) on August 6, in Congo.

 

Elsewedy Electric Company’s consolidated results showed a 47 percent decline in its profits during the first six months of 2020, recording LE 1.02 billion, compared to LE 1.95 billion in the same period of 2019. 

 

Elsewedy Electric operates within the capital goods sector focusing on electrical components and equipment. It has subsidiaries operating across Northern Africa, Eastern Africa, Middle East and Southern Europe.
