CAIRO 20 August 2020: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains during this week’s trading, according to the bourse’s weekly report released on Wednesday.
 
The market capital gained EGP 8.7 billion to reach EGP 616.6 billion compared with EGP 607.9 billion in the previous week, recording an increase of 1.4%.
 
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 1.97 percent to register 11,160.05 points.
 
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 2.59 percent to stand at 1,692.88 points.
 
The all-embracing EGX 100 index went up by about 2.09 percent to settle at 2,571.86 points.
