Presidential decree renewing appointment of Yehia Zaki as SCZone head

CAIRO - 13 August 2020: The General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) on Thursday announced that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree renewing the appointment of Yehia Zaki as chairman of the authority for one year, starting from August 12,2020.  

In August 2019, Zaki was appointed as the SCZone head to succeed former chairman Mohab Mamish.

The SCZone, one of the country's important national projects, has contributed since its establishment in 2015 to developing the infrastructure of industrial zones and its affiliated ports, as well as building mega facilities and tunnels.
