CAIRO – 15 April 2020: Misr Al Khair Foundation praised Cairo 3A company and its owner businessman Ayman Al Gamil for its social responsibility and its participation with the Foundation.

According to the Foundation al Gamil has challenged other companies to deliver their products to Egyptian families who are negatively affected by COVID-19.

"We are still waiting for more companies to contribute with us in order to reach thousands of families affected by the current circumstances," the foundation said in a tweet.

The company signed a cooperation protocol with the foundation to provide 10 quarantine hospitals in Egypt with ventilators with the aim of strengthening the capabilities of these hospitals and providing them with the necessary medical equipment and strengthening the health system in Egypt to confront the threat of an outbreak of the new corona virus.

Earlier, Misr Al-Khair Foundation launched an initiative to provide cartons containing 10 kilograms of food, along with integrated medical tools such as alcohol, musk and others to protect people.

It has also provided tools for doctors in the isolation hospitals, in addition to that it is the only non-governmental organization that provides ventilators; 6 devices for Tanta University Hospitals, Qena, Luxor and Marsa Matrouh.

Egyptian businessman Ayman al Gamil said previously that Egypt’s early precautionary measures that have been taken to confront the spread of COVID-19 pandemic and save our lives make all of us proud.

He added that Egypt took several precautionary measures that averted the Egyptians to enter a 'dark tunnel' which many other major countries could not avoid, leading to the infection of nearly one million people worldwide.

“President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s decisions to confront the economic repercussions of the emerging coronavirus crisis, is a rescue collar for the Egyptian economy, Businessman Ayman Al-Gamil affirmed on April 8.

Gamil pointed out that these decisions came in light of the recession that the world is currently going through as transportation, aviation, and inter-country industries have been suspended.
