Sudan announces operation of electricity linkage with Egypt

KHARTOUM, April 3 (MENA) - The Sudanese Ministry of Energy and Mining has announced the operation of the 60-megawatt electricity connection with Egypt.

In a statement released on Friday, the ministry said the national grid started feeding the northern parts in Sudan with electricity, adding that this project comes to develop the country's electricity supply network.
