CAIRO, Dec 29 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli stressed on Sunday that the government is taking steady steps to develop public business companies and carry out comprehensive reforms to stimulate the national economy.

During a meeting with Public Business Minister Hisham Tawfiq, Madbouli welcomed the serious steps taken by the ministry to rehabilitate public business companies.

He said the government is ready to iron out hurdles blocking the development of the companies.

Tawfiq updated the premier on developing the first cotton gin factory in Fayyoum, Kima Company for Fertilizers and Delta Steel Company.

He also briefed him on finalizing the construction of Steigenberger Hotel in Ras El Bar.

He said it will be the first five-star hotel in this coastal city.
