Dollar prices stable at Egypt's major banks

CAIRO - 18 December 2019: The US dollar exchange rate was stable during Wednesday's transactions at Egypt's major banks after it dropped to less than LE 16 over the past two days for the first time since the Egyptian pound floating in 2016.

The dollar rate has declined by more than LE 1.85 pounds since the start of 2019.

At the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and the Arab African International Bank, the dollar rate remained stable, recording LE 15.99 for buying and LE 16.09 for selling.

The dollar rate at the Commercial International Bank registered LE 15.98 for buying and LE 16.08 for selling.

At the National Bank of Greece, the dollar price registered LE 16 for buying and LE 16.10 for selling.

The dollar rate went down up by one piaster at the United Bank, recording LE 15.98 for buying and LE 16.08 for selling
