Assar, CZ Group president discuss cooperation in military industry

CAIRO, Dec 17 (MENA) - Military Production Minister Mohamed Assar had talks on Tuesday with Lubomir Kovarik, President of the Czech CZ Group, on means of benefiting from modern technology in manufacturing military equipment.

The talks fall within the framework of the Military Production Ministry's strategy to cooperate with international companies to draw on up-to-date technology in various domains.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to promote cooperation between Abu Zaabal Company for Specialized Industries (Factory 300) and the Czech company through establishing a joint committee for developing certain military industries in Egypt to cater for local needs.

For his part, Kovarik underlined the importance of cooperating with the Egyptian ministry in view of its affiliated companies which have great potentials and qualified cadres.
