CAIRO - 16 January 2018: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Wealth Tarek el Molla said Tuesday Egypt has developed a roadmap to lure further investments to its mineral wealth sector.

Developing the sector is based on several axes, most notably the legislative, structural and human resource reforms, El Molla told the Egyptian TV.

The ministry plans to deliver natural gas to all eligible homes in all villages and cities within two years, he revealed.

The minister stressed that great efforts are exerted to offer fuel subsidies just for those who deserve it.

He added that removing subsidies on some petroleum products has helped to provide better service in more important sectors, such as education, health, transportation and others.

It also leaded to consumption rationalizing, El Molla said.
