BEIRUT - 23 November 2018: The 4th Egyptian-Lebanese Business Forum kicked off on Friday morning in Beirut under the patronage of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri and in the presence of Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr along with about 300 businessmen from Egypt and Lebanon.

Head of the trade representation office at the Egyptian Embassy in Lebanon Mona Wahba said that the office seeks that the volume of trade exchange between both countries would exceed $1.5 billion during 2019 and 2020.

The trade exchange between Egypt and Lebanon hit about $820 million in 2017, as Egypt was the seventh exporting country to Lebanon with values of exports amounting to about $750 million.

Lebanon is one of the major countries investing in Egypt in about 1,425 projects, with total investments hitting $4.1 billion.
